Samer Habre

Samer Habre is an experienced academic in the field of mathematics, currently serving as the Academic Director for the MEPI Tomorrow's Leaders Undergraduate Program at Lebanese American University, a position held since September 1992. With a background that includes roles such as Assistant Dean for the School of Arts and Sciences and Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics, Samer has made significant contributions to academia. Additionally, Samer serves as a Guest Editor for special issues of the CODEE Journal, which focuses on the teaching and learning of ordinary differential equations. Previous academic appointments include a Visiting Scholar position at California Polytechnic State University and a Visiting Assistant Professor position at Cornell University. Samer holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Syracuse University and a BS in Mathematics from the American University of Beirut.
