Heather Williams has a strong background in the legal field. Heather currently holds the position of Associate General Counsel at LeChase Construction, a role they started in February 2023. Prior to this, Heather worked as a Partner at Ansa Assuncao LLP from June 2021 to February 2023, and as an Associate at the same firm from August 2012 to May 2021. Before joining Ansa Assuncao LLP, they worked as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Paul W. Grimm, Chief U.S. Magistrate Judge at the United States District Court for the District of Maryland from August 2011 to August 2012. Heather also gained experience as a Legal Intern at the Administrative Office of the United States Courts from May 2009 to May 2011. Additionally, they served as a Student Attorney at the University of Maryland School of Law Clinical Law Program in the Reentry of Ex-Offenders Clinic from September 2010 to December 2010. Heather started their legal career as a Judicial Intern for The Honorable Nancy E. Smith at the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department from September 2006 to May 2007.

Heather Williams obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, French, and International Relations from the University of Rochester, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Heather then went on to pursue a Juris Doctor degree, graduating with honors (Cum Laude), from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law between 2008 and 2011.
