Tünde Szabó

Tünde Szabó PhD is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in geospatial technologies and urban planning. Currently serving as the Product Owner for the GIS Development Team at Lechner Tudásközpont, Tünde is responsible for developing a strategic roadmap for Unified Mapping Systems, benefiting a substantial user base. As an Evaluation Consultant for the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency, Tünde evaluates applications related to data analytics and geospatial technologies. Previously, Tünde worked as a Product Manager at greehill for a Remote Tree Inventory and Measurement System and founded GEOInsight Ltd., creating innovative geofencing services. Tünde's data science expertise was honed at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and prior research roles included studying urban development and human mobility. An educational background includes a PhD in Geology/Earth Science and multiple degrees in Geography and Infrastructure Planning.
