Alma Flores

Alma Flores is an accomplished professional in community and economic development, currently serving as the Executive Director at the Latino Economic Development Center since October 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Principal at Alma C. Flores Strategic Urban Consulting, Community and Economic Development Director for the City of Golden Valley, MN, and Director of Housing Development at REACH CDC. Other significant positions held include Community and Economic Development Director for the City of Milwaukie, OR, and Economic Development Manager for the City of Beaverton. Alma possesses a Master's degree in City Planning with a focus on Housing, Community, and Economic Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology/Chicano/a Studies from UCLA.
