Joel Parra

Joel Parra is an experienced engineer currently serving as the Manufacturing Engineering Lead at Ledge Lounger, where responsibilities include 3D modeling and prototyping, as well as DFX, DFM, and DFA processes. Prior to this role, Joel worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Perint Systems, focusing on 3D design for new product development and hardware design. Experience also includes a position as Project Development Engineer at Automatas Industriales, where Joel designed, fabricated, tested, and validated custom manufacturing machines, along with expertise in milling and lathe machining, as well as MIG and TIG welding. Joel has also held roles as a Mechatronic Design Engineer at Carling Technologies, creating new product fixtures and testers, and as a Process Engineer at REPEMEX S. DE R.L. DE C.V., generating and updating 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Joel holds a degree in Mechanical Administration Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí.
