Chafiq Lhiyat

Chafiq LHIYAT has extensive work experience in physical security and risk management. Chafiq currently holds the position of Global Head of Physical Security at Ledger, where they are responsible for resilience, physical security, safety, travel security, crisis management, BCP, and security training. Prior to joining Ledger, Chafiq worked as a Physical Security professional at a Security Consultancy, where they performed risk assessments, threat analysis, and designed and engineered physical security measures. Chafiq also has experience as the France Cluster Security Manager at Amazon Web Services, where they managed risk and threat assessments, implemented physical security infrastructure, and handled resilience and sensitive investigations. Before that, Chafiq served as the Security and Business Intelligence Director at TNT EXPRESS FRANCE, where they implemented security strategies, reinforced security infrastructure, and ensured compliance with security regulations. Chafiq also held the position of Deputy Security Director at the same company, where they conducted risk analysis, managed security analysis records and high-value movements, and completed security audits and certifications.

Chafiq LHIYAT has a Master's degree in English Literature from the English Literature University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996. Chafiq also has a degree in Security management engineering from CNPP CS CERIC, which they obtained in 2008. In 2010, Chafiq obtained an Auditor degree in Strategical Private and Public Security from the INHES Institut des Hautes Etudes de sécurité. Chafiq has multiple AvSec degrees in Aviation Security, obtained from ENAC, although the exact dates are not provided. Chafiq also has additional certifications in Aviation Security modules and a License degree in English Literature.
