Timo Horstschäfer

Timo Horstschäfer is currently the CTO at Ledgy. Prior to that, they were a researcher at the Robotics and Perception Group from October 2016 to June 2017. Before that, they were a Master Thesis Student at the Robotics and Perception Group from November 2015 to May 2016, where they developed a system that accurately determined the position of a camera while at the same time creating a three-dimensional map of its environment (SLAM). Timo was also a research assistant at ETH Zurich from January 2012 to August 2013. From 2006 to 2009, they were a research assistant at the Fraunhofer-Institut für Physikalische Messtechnik IPM.

Timo Horstschäfer has a Master's Degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from ETH Zürich, a Physics degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and a Master's Degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Universidade Federal do ABC. Timo also has a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from ETH Zürich, and is certified by the Federal Office of Civil Aviation Switzerland as a Sailplane Pilot License. In addition, they are certified by the Confucius Institute Online as HSK Level 4 (Chinese Proficiency Test).

Marlies Mayerhofer - Software Engineer & Product Hunter, Luke Mcgee - CX Manager & Mixologist, and Lin Qiu - Product Designer report to Timo Horstschäfer.
