Lisa Contreras is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in campaign communications, public relations, and strategic planning. Currently serving as the Director of Campaign Communications at Leadership for Educational Equity, Lisa focuses on campaign messaging and media opportunities. Previous roles include President of Marisol Public Relations, where comprehensive communications and marketing plans were developed for various organizations, and Director of Communications for both Vista Unified and Oceanside Unified School Districts, overseeing strategic planning for large student populations. Lisa has also held communications positions with the San Diego County Office of Education, the County of San Diego, and Nickelodeon, showcasing a diverse background in media relations and community outreach. A graduate of San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communications, Lisa combines expertise in both education and public service communications.
