Mollie Stephens

Mollie Stephens, MPP, MSW, currently serves as the Senior Director of Member Impact and Effectiveness at Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE) since June 2019, where leadership of a high-performing team focuses on member growth and equity impact. In addition to this role, Mollie lectures at UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and founded Matter Coaching to provide social change and gender equity-focused coaching services. Prior experience includes various leadership positions at LEE, where strategic partnerships and innovative coaching programs were developed, and internships at organizations like the Children’s Defense Fund and the American Civil Liberties Union of Maryland, contributing to advocacy work and policy analysis. Educational credentials include a Master of Social Welfare and a Master of Public Policy from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University.
