John Grove

John Grove has a diverse and extensive work experience in the newspaper industry. John started their career at the Alton Telegraph as a Circulation Director and held various positions, including truck driver, customer service, and marketing. John then worked at the Belleville News-Democrat as a Sales & Marketing Manager, Circulation Director, Vice President of Circulation, and Vice President of Audience & Operations. After that, they joined the St. Louis Post-Dispatch as the Director of Circulation Operations, Director of Audience Development, and Vice President of Audience Development. Currently, John is working at Lee Enterprises, where they have served as a Regional Director of Consumer Sales and Marketing, Division Director of Consumer Sales and Marketing, and Vice President of Consumer Services and Operations. Their responsibilities have included overseeing distribution operations, growing print and digital units and revenue, and providing world-class customer service. Overall, John has demonstrated their expertise and leadership in audience development, circulation, and consumer services throughout their career.

John Grove attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 1985 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology & Business Administration.
