Alexandre Morel, PhD, currently serves as CTO and Co-Founder of FOOD FOUNDERS Studio, and as an Expert at Lee Enterprises Consulting, following a role as Venture Associate at Next Sequence®, where the establishment of the FoodTech vertical was achieved. Previously, Alexandre held the position of Head of Innovation & Technology Development at MIRAI FOODS, leading the creation of the first production process for cultivated beef fillet and contributing to a successful funding round. With experience as a PhD Candidate at ETH Zürich and Empa, Alexandre focused on enhancing nanofiber textiles for tissue engineering, and also engaged in developing in-vitro models for drug discovery during earlier research roles. Academic credentials include a PhD from ETH Zürich, a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Bern, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Université de Fribourg.
