Amanda Silverthorn, CPA, CMA has over 20 years of experience in various financial roles. Amanda began their career as a Cost Accountant at Instantel Inc. from 2000 to 2003, where they prepared financial statements and reports, conducted variance analysis, and managed budgets and forecasts. From 2003 to 2007, Amanda worked as a Chief Accountant at Camcor Industries, overseeing the complete financial cycle, implementing a new ERP system, and managing various accounting functions. Amanda then joined Abbott Point of Care as a Senior Financial Analyst, where they managed financial statement and reporting processes, performed project accounting and variance analysis, and prepared annual budgets. Amanda's next role was at March Networks as a Senior Specialist Financial Analysis from 2014 to 2017, where they focused on financial analysis and reporting. Amanda then transitioned to The Canadian Medical Protective Association as a Financial Analyst from 2017 to 2018. In this role, they provided financial analysis support. Amanda joined Saegis in 2018 and held various roles, including Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst and Controller. Currently, they are employed as a Controller at Lee Valley Tools since 2023.
