Glen McInnis has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Glen is currently the Vice President of Information Technology at Lee Valley Tools since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Valtech as the Vice President of Technology from July 2017 to April 2022. Glen also served as an Advisory Board Member at the Toronto Sitecore User Group from December 2011 to April 2022. From January 2010 to June 2017, Glen held the position of Vice President of Technology at Nonlinear Creations Inc. Glen also worked as the Practice (Technology) Lead at the same company from June 2006 to December 2010. Before that, they were a Developer/Technical Consultant at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police from January 2005 to June 2006. Glen also worked as a Technical Team Lead at ICHU from November 2000 to December 2005, and as a Technical Lead at Simscape from May 1999 to November 2000.
Glen McInnis has a diverse educational background in the field of technology and management. Glen started their education journey in 1995 at UPEI, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science until 1999. Following this, they enrolled at Carleton University from 2007 to 2009 and obtained a Master of Applied Science degree in Technology Innovation Management.
In 2008, Glen attended the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, where they completed a Leadership program. Glen then returned to the Smith School of Business in 2010 and studied IT Management briefly.
Aside from their formal education, Glen McInnis also acquired additional certifications. In January 2020, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
