Mark Nam Nguyen

Mark Nam Nguyen has extensive experience in procurement and logistics. Mark Nam most recently worked as a Procurement Contract Specialist at Lee Valley Tools Ltd. from April 2016 onwards. In this role, they focused on developing retail supply chain efficiencies, mentoring team members, and developing forecast models.

Prior to that, Mark worked as a Procurement Manager at Dutco McConnell Dowell (ME) from March 2010 to March 2015. Mark Nam also held the position of Procurement Logistics Manager at Capital Drilling from March 2009 to March 2010, and Procurement Logistics Coordinator at Nacap from March 2007 to March 2009.

Mark has also worked as a Procurement and Logistics Consultant at Ranhill International, where they were employed to mitigate losses and delays in procurement and logistics for the Melut Oil Basin Development Project. Mark Nam was responsible for chartering cargo aircraft for deliveries in remote areas of Sudan. Mark Nam held this position from October 2005 to May 2006.

Prior to that, they worked as a Logistics Manager at Freedom Fabricators LLC from February 2003 to August 2005. Mark Nam also held the position of Pipeline Administration Manager at McConnell Dowell from May 2000 to October 2002.

Before transitioning into the procurement and logistics field, Mark worked as a Deputy Representative at Transpo International from September 1998 to February 2000.

Mark Nam started their career as the Owner/Operator of Army Ant Painting and Transport from July 1995 to August 1997. In this role, they managed a small business targeting residential and commercial painting contracts and organized low-cost cross country haulage services for various student communities.

Mark Nam Nguyen obtained a Certified Supply Chain Management Professional certification from the Purchasing Management Association of Canada from 2009 to 2011. Mark Nam also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from St. Francis Xavier University from 1991 to 1995. In addition, Mark holds the certifications of "Certified Supply Chain Management Professional" from the Supply Chain Management Association of Canada and "Member Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS UK)" from The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
