Kristie Harmon is a seasoned professional in the field of child protection and advocacy, currently serving as a Child Protection Case Manager for the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe since April 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Shelter Advocate with the White Earth Tribal Nation from May 2018 to July 2022 and as a Victims Advocate at the Headwaters Intervention Center & Family Crisis Center from August 2015 to May 2018. Kristie has extensive experience in crisis intervention, legal advocacy, community education, and personal advocacy, which includes managing a 24-hour crisis line, providing referrals, and facilitating safe housing and support groups. Kristie holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Bemidji State University, obtained between 2010 and 2014.
