Polly Cook

Polly Cook is an experienced leader in climate and environmental management, currently serving as Chief Officer for Climate, Energy and Green Spaces at Leeds City Council since October 2006. In this role, Polly oversees a diverse range of services including bereavement services, parks, and the management of the council’s low carbon program. Previously, Polly held positions as Chief Officer for Sustainable Energy and Air Quality, Executive Programme Manager, and Executive Project Manager, focusing on climate emergency responses and sustainability initiatives. Polly's earlier career includes roles at Mowlem Plc as Bid Manager, and at Northern Foods and Ford Motor Company in various supply chain and purchasing positions. Polly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Combined Languages from the University of Hull.
