Vanessa Smith

Vanessa Smith is an experienced professional with a robust background in policy and economic development, currently serving as the Corporate Support and Policy Manager in the Chief Executive’s Office at Leeds City Council since October 2012. Prior roles at Leeds City Council include Economic Development Officer, Policy Officer in the Chief Executive’s Office, and Senior Support Officer (Research) in the Leader’s Office. Vanessa's career began at Harrogate Borough Council as a Parks Support Officer and Graduate Placement, followed by a position as Area Customer Care Officer in Highways & Transportation at North Yorkshire County Council. Vanessa holds a Master of Arts in Modern History and a Bachelor of Arts in History, both from the University of York.
