Barbara Silcox

Barbara Silcox is a Senior Lecturer in Academic Practice at Leeds Trinity University since June 2022. Previously, Barbara served as Teaching Excellence Lead at the University of Bedfordshire, focusing on enhancing higher education teaching and learning through evidence-informed practices. Barbara has a strong background in academic skills coordination, having worked at Regent's University London, where key initiatives included promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. Barbara's international experience includes teacher training programs in Kazakhstan and refugee educational projects in collaboration with the British Council and European Union. Barbara's educational qualifications include a PhD in Educational Research at Lancaster University and various degrees in Education and Social Sciences.
