Katie Wall

Katie Wall is an Associate Professor and Program Coordinator at Lees-McRae College since August 2016, focusing on Outdoor Recreation Management, Ski Industry Business & Instruction, and Wilderness Medicine & Rescue. With extensive experience in outdoor education, Katie has served as an instructor for both NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute and Landmark Learning since 2008, and worked as the Outdoor Programs Coordinator at Appalachian State University from 2012 to 2016. Previous roles include Sales Representative positions at Outdoor Research and Darn Tough Vermont, Wilderness Instructor at Outward Bound, and Outdoor Recreation Director at the University of South Carolina-Columbia. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Appalachian State University (in progress), a Master's in Higher Education from the University of Mississippi, and a Bachelor's in Leisure/Sports Management from Elon University.
