Matthew Benton-Smith

Matthew Benton-Smith is a Nottingham Forest Reporter for VAVEL.com since January 2024 and serves as a Student Ambassador at Bournemouth University. Additionally, Matthew is a Club Media Assistant for Eastleigh Football Club and a Music Writer for LeftLion Magazine Nottingham, where voluntary music reviews have enhanced music journalism skills and professional contacts. As a Sports Correspondent for The Nottingham Sport, Matthew produces articles on football and equestrianism, including interviews with athletes. Previous roles include Media Assistant/Club Journalist at Basford United Football Club and multimedia journalist at Nottingham College, where Matthew completed a Level 3 course in Journalism. Currently pursuing a degree at Bournemouth University, Matthew's diverse experience spans various media and journalism roles.
