Mirko Mastropietro

Mirko Mastropietro is a skilled telecommunications engineer with extensive experience in technical operations and innovation within the media and broadcast industry. Currently serving as the Technical Operation Manager at Lega Serie A since January 2023, Mirko previously held the position of Business Innovation Manager at ASC27 s.r.l., where the focus was on promoting Artificial Intelligence for business digitalization. Prior roles include Research & Innovation Manager at Sky, where responsibilities encompassed scouting new technologies for video delivery optimization, and Research & Engineering Expert at Sky Italia, credited with pioneering Italy’s first UHD-HDR distribution satellite channel. Mirko’s career began as an R&D Engineer at Rai, focusing on the development of national SDH network contributions. Mirko holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and has studied at Télécom Paris.
