Legacy Behavioral Health Services
Markeshia Jordan, MSW, is a dedicated mental health professional with a strong background in social work and extensive experience in therapeutic settings. Currently serving as a Mental Health Therapist at Legacy Behavioral Health Services since April 2023, Markeshia has previously held similar positions at TURNER COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT and VASHTI COMMUNITY CENTER. Early career experience includes a role as a Pre-service Coordinator at Legacy Behavioral Health Services and an internship as a Child Advocate at The Haven, focusing on young victims of domestic violence. Markeshia also contributed to child protection efforts as a Social Services Intern with the Georgia Department of Children and Family. Academic qualifications include a Master of Social Work from Valdosta State University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Thomas University, along with an Associate's degree in Social Work from Moultrie Technical College.
