Prior to joining the Legacy Team as a Managing Partner, Jay spent more than 29 years as a financial advisor with Fortune 250 companies, creating and implementing wealth management, preservation, and transfer strategies for affluent clients.

Jay’s focus and experience includes utilizing an array of retirement plans, with a focus on tax-saving strategies, along with providing affluent families, businesses, trusts and foundations with sophisticated wealth and estate tax planning and leveraged strategies to help meet the complex multi-generational needs of the Legacy’s individual clients.

Jay’s credentials include FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Engineering at The Ohio State University, an MBA in Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a Certified Investment Management Analyst designation through the Wharton School of Business, and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation through the College for Financial Planning.
