Zoe Patterson is an experienced English teacher currently employed at Legacy College Preparatory Charter School since August 2022 and serves as a Corps Member with Teach For America since April 2022. Previously, Zoe was an Americorps Member at City Year from August 2021 to June 2022 and interned at the GAP Institute from February 2020 to August 2020, where responsibilities included revising written materials, developing a blog series for Vietnamese students about Western education and culture, conducting educational research, and leading a study group focused on English and Vietnamese language skills. Education includes a Master’s degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education (expected June 2024), a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Brandeis University (2017-2021), and a High School Diploma from United Nations International School (2013-2017).

Legacy College Preparatory Charter School
Legacy College Prep is an independent, tuition-free charter school opening in the South Bronx the fall of 2017 to sixth grade only. We will grow one grade each year until we are fully enrolled through twelfth grade. Our Mission: Through rigorous academic instruction, values-based character development, and the pursuit of ambitious goals, Legacy College Preparatory Charter School ensures all students in grades six through twelve are prepared to graduate from college, access professional opportunities, and build a positive legacy for future generations.
