Lauren Mattiuzzi

Lauren Mattiuzzi currently serves as General Counsel and Senior Director, Staff Attorney at Legacy Community Health since January 2020. Prior to this role, Lauren held the position of Assistant Director of Risk Management at Texas Children's Hospital from May 2013 to January 2020, where legal advice was provided to stakeholders and a team of Nurse Risk Management Specialists was managed. Lauren also served as Interim Assistant Director of Risk Management at St. Luke's Episcopal Health System from 2007 to 2012 and worked as a Claims Attorney. Earlier in the career, Lauren practiced as an Attorney at Munisteri, Sprott, Rigby, Newsom, & Robbins, P.C. and Karotkin, Chase & Erwin. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (BS) from California State University Maritime Academy.
