Russ Magoon

Russ Magoon, MBA, CBET, USSF B, currently serves as the Head Coach for Boys Soccer at Catlin Gabel School since March 2025. With extensive experience in medical imaging, Russ has worked as an Imaging Service Engineer at Legacy Health since March 2007, maintaining and calibrating x-ray machines across multiple locations. In addition, Russ has been involved in soccer coaching for several organizations, including serving as the Director of Foundation Academy at FC Portland since May 2018, and previously held the role of Regional Training Center Director of Coaching for the Portland Timbers. Russ's background in education includes teaching English to diverse age groups at Sisa Young O Sa while holding degrees from institutions such as Keller Graduate School of Management and Norwich University.
