Dr. Labrenica Harris

Dr. LaBrenica Harris serves as the Chief Academic Officer and K-5 Instructional Coordinator at Legacy Prep since July 2022. With extensive experience in educational consulting since April 2019 at 5eyesinc, Dr. Harris previously worked as a Regional Literacy Specialist at B from July 2020 to October 2022 and spent over two decades at Birmingham City Schools in various instructional roles, including Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, and Instructional Coach. Dr. Harris focuses on collaborating with educational teams and local schools to develop and implement professional development aimed at enhancing teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes. Dr. Harris holds an Administrative Certification in Educational Leadership from Samford University, a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Stillman College, and a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
