Legado
Urszula Stankiewicz currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff at Legado, managing back-end operations and collaborating on budgeting, strategic communications, and partnership development. Previously, as a Partnerships Scoping Consultant for Blue Ventures, Urszula led initiatives to establish new partnerships in West Africa. Urszula has extensive experience in Mozambique with Blue Ventures, first as National Representative and Regional Health-Environment Partnerships Coordinator, then as Health-Environment Partner Support Officer, focusing on marine conservation and community health integration. Earlier roles include work with the Peace Corps in Mozambique, serving as a Community Health & Organizational Strengthening Worker, and participating in various capacities with organizations such as Hands On Birmingham and the Sparkman Center for Global Health. Urszula holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Anthropology from Rutgers University.
