Garrett J. Singer

Special Assistant to the President at Lawrence University

Garrett Singer, M.Ed., currently serves as the Special Assistant to the President and Director of the Center for Community Engagement and Social Change (CCE) at Lawrence University since May 2021. Prior to this role, Garrett held the position of Urban Leaders Fellow at The Urban Leaders Fellowship from June to August 2021 and worked at Vanderbilt University from August 2019 to May 2021 as a Practicum Student in the Office of Community Relations and Service Coordinator for the Ingram Scholars Program. Additional experience includes serving as a Business Development Coordinator at Weiss Bros. from February 2019 to March 2020, District Executive at Cape Fear Council, Boy Scouts of America from June 2017 to October 2018, Public Safety Dispatcher at Washington and Lee University from September 2013 to May 2017, and Web Services Coordinator at Weiss Bros. from May 2014 to December 2015. Garrett earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Higher Education Administration from Vanderbilt Peabody College in May 2021 and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Business Administration from Washington and Lee University in 2017.
