Dawn Hathaway Thoman Esquire

Dawn Hathaway Thoman, Esquire, serves as a Pro Bono CAP Attorney at the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada since August 2015, providing legal representation to abused and neglected children in foster care and state custody. Thoman co-taught the Educational Advocacy course at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law, in early 2020. Previous experience includes intern roles with the Las Vegas City Attorney's office, contributing to significant legal research and writing, as well as serving as a student attorney in various legal clinics, where Thoman handled family and immigration cases. Thoman holds a Juris Doctor degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law, graduating in the top 28% of the class, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, graduating summa cum laude. In addition, Thoman has over a decade of experience in leadership roles within a Fortune 500 employment firm prior to pursuing a legal career.
