Amber Banks

Amber Banks is an experienced attorney currently working with the Legal Aid Justice Center in the Youth Justice Program, providing legal services to youth and families while advocating for systemic changes. Prior experience includes serving as a Staff Attorney at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, handling various civil rights cases, and roles such as Law Clerk at the ACLU of Tennessee and the Southern Poverty Law Center, focusing on constitutional rights and children's education. Amber's extensive background also encompasses leadership positions in advocacy organizations, including the Executive Director at femex and significant roles at NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland. Amber holds a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School and a BA in Government from the University of Virginia.
