Laura Mcmahon

Laura McMahon has over a decade of experience in legal advocacy and public interest law. Currently serving as a Board Member for OneJustice and the Legal Aid Association of California, Laura also holds the position of Executive Director at Legal Aid of Marin, where responsibilities include overseeing legal services. Previous roles include Assistant Public Defender at the Office of the Public Defender Maryland and Staff Attorney at FreeState Justice, alongside experience as an Appointed Attorney for the District Court of Maryland. Laura obtained a Juris Doctorate in Public Interest Law from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Smith College.
