Shawn Farritor

Shawn Farritor is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various areas of law. Currently serving as the Managing Attorney at Legal Aid of Nebraska since March 2009, Shawn oversees the Grand Island office and manages a comprehensive caseload focusing on bankruptcy, housing, and family law issues. Previously, Shawn held the position of Authorized Attorney at the State of Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, specializing in Child Support Enforcement from March 2003 to April 2009, and served as Deputy Public Defender at the Adams County Public Defender from March 1999 to March 2003, representing indigent clients in criminal, mental health, and juvenile cases. Shawn Farritor earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law and participated in the European Studies Program at the University of Amsterdam, focusing on the Dutch language.
