Alika Hendricks Jean-Jacques has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Alika began their career as a Student at Law at Investigation Counsel Professional Corporation - Fraud Litigation Lawyers in 2009. Following this, they worked as an Advisor at Project Genesis Community Legal Clinic in 2007. Alika also gained research experience as a Research Assistant in Labour and Employment Law to Professor Adelle Blackett at McGill University - Faculty of Law in 2007-2008.

In 2010, Alika joined Legal Aid Ontario as a Staff Lawyer, specializing in Criminal Duty Counsel. During their time there, they also served as an Elected Bargaining Subcommittee Member on the Legal Aid Ontario Interim Local Committee (ILC) from an unspecified date to July 2019.

In 2013, Alika took on a role as an Adjunct Professor at Seneca College, teaching various subjects until May 2016.

B.A.). Their studies at the Faculty of Law focused on Canadian Law, Legal Studies, and Jurisprudence.
