Duty Counsel - Criminal & Family Law at Legal Aid Ontario

Amanda Blaise has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Amanda started their career as a Case Worker at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic in 2010. Amanda then worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Law University of Ottawa in 2012. Later that year, they joined Legal Aid Ontario as an Articling student and gained practical experience. In 2015, they briefly worked as a Lawyer at Jacques Côté Law Office before joining Legal Aid Ontario again as Duty Counsel, handling criminal and family law cases.

Amanda Blaise pursued their higher education at the University of Ottawa. From 2005 to 2009, they obtained a Bachelor of Social Sciences with a minor in Business Administration. Amanda'sfield of study during this period was International Development and Globalization. Continuing their academic journey, Amanda then attended the University of Ottawa from 2009 to 2012, where they successfully completed their Juris Doctor (J.D.), specializing in Common Law.
