Jaclyn Mackenzie has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Jaclyn started their career as a Research Assistant at Queen's University in 2012, where they worked in the Faculty of Law. Jaclyn then joined Pro Bono Students Canada as a Family Law Project Coordinator from May 2012 to May 2013.
In 2013, Jaclyn worked as a Student-at-Law at the Feldstein Family Law Group, gaining practical experience in family law. Jaclyn then moved to Nussbaum Family Law in 2014, where they worked as a Family Lawyer until April 2018.
In April 2018, Jaclyn established their own law firm called Mackenzie Family Law, where they serve as the Owner, specializing in Family and Child Protection Law. Jaclyn continues to work in this role. Additionally, since September 2018, they have also been working as a Panel Duty Counsel at Legal Aid Ontario.

Jaclyn Mackenzie attended Queen's University from 2010 to 2013, where they completed their Juris Doctor degree in the Faculty of Law. Prior to that, they studied at Western University from 2007 to 2010, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in the Faculty of Information and Media Studies.
In addition to their formal education, Jaclyn Mackenzie holds two additional certifications. Jaclyn became a Notary Public in July 2014 through the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General. In June 2014, they also obtained the certification of Barrister & Solicitor from the Law Society of Ontario.
