Peter Crozier has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Peter began their career in 2007 as a Core Leadership Development Counsellor at YMCA Wanakita, where they provided personal leadership counseling to disadvantaged youth and worked alongside various organizations. In 2009, they worked as a Junior Consultant at UNHCR, where they managed translation and fundraising initiatives. From 2010 to 2011, Peter worked as a French Teacher at Kyungsung University & EWAS Busan School. In 2011 and 2012, they served as the Manager at the Spanish Centre for Language and Culture, overseeing staff and organizing events. Peter then joined Legal Aid Ontario in various roles, starting as a Summer Student in 2014, assisting unrepresented clients in family cases. Peter continued their work at Legal Aid Ontario in 2015 as an Articled Clerk, providing duty counsel for criminal cases and major case management. Additionally, they worked at the Fredericton Legal Advice Clinic from 2013 to 2015 as a Student Coordinator and Legal Volunteer, assisting clients with criminal and family matters.
Peter Crozier has a diverse education history. Peter obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2015 and from Université de Moncton in 2013.
Prior to pursuing law, Peter completed a BA degree with a double major in French and History at Dalhousie University from 2004 to 2009. During their undergraduate studies, they also spent a year at Université Cheik Anta Diop where they studied Français and Science Politique in 2008 and 2009.
Aside from legal and humanities education, Peter also has a background in photography. Peter attended the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 2006 and 2007, where they focused on digital photography and obtained a degree in Photography.
In addition to their academic pursuits, Peter has obtained several certifications. Peter became an Advanced Open Water SCUBA Diver through PADI in March 2010. Peter also holds certifications in Wilderness & Remote First Aid from the Canadian Red Cross and National LifeGuard (NLS) from the Lifesaving Society, although the specific dates of achievement are not provided.
