Robin Leighton

Robin Leighton has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Robin started their career as an Associate Lawyer at McGee & Fryer in 2004 and worked there until 2005. Robin then joined Nathens, Siegel LLP as an Associate Lawyer from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, they became an Associate Lawyer at Benmor Family Law Group and stayed until 2014. From 2014 to 2018, Robin worked as a Lawyer at their own practice, Robin Leighton, LL.B. Currently, they are employed as a Staff Duty Counsel at Legal Aid Ontario, a position they have held since November 2018.

Robin Leighton began their education at the University of Toronto in 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth). Robin completed this degree in 1999. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at the University of New Brunswick from 1999 to 2002, obtaining a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree with a focus on Law. In 2002, Robin briefly attended the University of Victoria but did not pursue a degree there. Overall, Robin Leighton's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and a Bachelor of Laws degree.
