Samantha Prescott

Samantha Prescott has a diverse work experience. Samantha started their career as an Elementary School Teacher with the Rainbow District School Board from September 2010 to July 2014. Samantha then worked as a Project Manager at the Ontario Justice Education Network from September 2015 to June 2017. After that, they joined Cupello & Company as a Student at Law from August 2016 to June 2017, and later as an Associate Lawyer from June 2017 to August 2019. Samantha then joined Legal Aid Ontario as a Panel Lawyer starting in January 2018. In August 2019, they joined Conroy Scott LLP as an Associate Lawyer, and in August 2020, they became a Partner at the same firm. Samantha also served as an Accreditation Appeal Board Panelist at the Ontario College of Teachers starting in April 2021. Currently, Samantha is working as a Lawyer at Mason Poratto-Mason LLP since August 2023.

Samantha Prescott has a diverse education history. Samantha attended Lakehead University from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Juris Doctor degree in Law. Prior to that, in 2010, they briefly studied French as a Second Language at Nipissing University. In 2009, Samantha attended Laurentian University and completed a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree. Prior to their BEd, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in 2005 from the same institution.

Samantha also holds several certifications. In August 2019, they obtained a Notary Public certification from the Ontario Government. Samantha became a licensee of the Law Society of Ontario in January 2018. Additionally, Samantha became a member of the Ontario College of Teachers in July 2010.
