Timothy Michaels-Johnson

Timothy Michaels-Johnson is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Region 5 Managing Attorney for Child Representation at the Oklahoma Office of Family Representation since April 2024. Previously, Timothy held the positions of Executive Director and Staff Attorney at Tulsa Lawyers for Children Inc from July 2016 to March 2024. Additionally, Timothy contributed to the legal education as an adjunct professor at The University of Tulsa College of Law, teaching a Juvenile Law course in Fall 2023 and a Master of Jurisprudence in Indian Law course from December 2016 to May 2018. Timothy's earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant District Attorney at the Tulsa County District Attorney's Office from August 2011 to July 2016 and working as a Law Clerk at Newton, O'Connor, Turner & Ketchum from December 2008 to July 2011. Timothy earned a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Tulsa College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Tulsa.
