Shelby Dodson is an attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, a position held since August 2018. Concurrently, Shelby serves as an Elder Justice AmeriCorps Fellow at the Tennessee Justice Center, focusing on providing civil representation to indigent seniors facing abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation. Shelby earned a Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law in 2016, where previously held the role of legal intern at the same organization during 2015, and has completed internships at the United States Attorney's Office and various judicial chambers. An undergraduate degree in Political Science was obtained from Harding University in 2013.
