Jason Chi

VP of Client Operations at Legal Decoder

Jason Chi has worked in the technology industry since 1999. Jason began their career as a Software Engineer at Verizon Communications (Bell Atlantic) where they prepared customer and financial data QA environments for the expressTrak billing system. In 2000, they moved to Pal-Tech, Inc. where they developed online training software products for government clients including the U.S. Department of State. In 2004, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Manager supporting the Enterprise Technologies and Systems practice for government and commercial sector clients. In 2015, they became the VP of Client Operations at Legal Decoder, building a company in the LegalTech space to bring data analytics to the legal industry. Jason was responsible for client operations, data analysis, product management, marketing, and a variety of other tasks. Jason also developed a bankruptcy program to analyze fees for U.

Jason Chi attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a BS in Computer Information Systems & International Business. In 2013, they attended the University of Virginia for Graduate Studies in Information Security. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance in August 2014, Security+ from CompTIA in November 2012, PMP from Project Management Institute in June 2011, ITIL v3 Service Offerings and Agreements Practitioner from the Office of Governmental Commerce UK in March 2009, and ITIL v2/v3 Foundations from The Office of Governmental Commerce UK in March 2005.
