Madeline Michelle Novoa is currently a Fellow at Legal Education Access Pipeline, Inc. (LEAP) since January 2024. Previously, Madeline has held multiple roles at Jacoby & Meyers Attorneys LLP since September 2020, including Discovery Clerk, Senior Lien Negotiator, and Lien Negotiator. Madeline's experience also includes serving as a Resource Development Intern at the United Black Family Scholarship Foundation, where funders were researched and fund proposals were drafted for underserved students in Oklahoma. In early 2020, Madeline worked as a Civic Engagement Intern for the League of United Latin American Citizens, focusing on voter registration campaigns and civic engagement programming. Educationally, Madeline earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies and Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 2016 to 2020, following a high school diploma from Santa Ynez Valley Union High School.

LEAP is an award-winning nonprofit Fellowship program that serves Northern & Southern CA. We supports students who are historically underrepresented in the field of law: POC, LGBTQ+, first-gen. college students, & those who are socioeconomically disadvantaged. LEAP provides comprehensive programming through focused workshops, LSAT prep, & mentoring with an attorney & law student mentor.
