Ashe Manandhar

Ashe Manandhar has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. They began their career as a Senior Consultant at Genworth, where they managed financial, operational, and compliance-related internal audits. They later took on the role of Managing Consultant, leading consulting assignments across multiple countries. Ashe then transitioned to the role of Risk Management Leader at Genworth, where they managed product risk for the life insurance business.

In 2010, Ashe joined Prudential Financial as a Director of Product Management, where they played a key role in bringing innovative life insurance and living benefit products to the market. They also led a matrix team through large-scale product development cycles to maximize the marketability, profitability, and competitiveness of the products.

In 2016, Ashe moved to Experiture, a marketing technology start-up, as the Director of Product Strategy. They drove product strategy, led initiatives related to product design and marketing campaigns, and implemented process improvements.

Next, Ashe joined Capital One as the Director and Head of Insurance Products in 2017. In this role, they developed a comprehensive strategy to grow direct-to-consumer digital insurance, while also maximizing advisor-driven full-service insurance sales. They built a robust product management process, managed insurance carrier relationships, and oversaw multiple third-party partnerships.

Currently, Ashe is serving as the Director of Product Management at Legal & General America. In this position, they evaluate new product and market opportunities by assessing customer needs, demographic changes, emerging technology, and competitor actions. They also manage the full product lifecycle, from concept to implementation and market launch, with a focus on driving profitable sales growth.

Ashe Manandhar holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Financial Economics from Bethany College. They also have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Agile and Design Thinking from the University of Virginia, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc., Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) from The American College of Financial Services, FINRA Series 6 from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) from LOMA, New York Life and Health License from the New York State Department of Financial Services, and Six Sigma from GE.
