Jonas Morrison

Jonas Morrison M.S. has a diverse and extensive work experience in various security and leadership roles. Jonas is currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for YMCA of Frederick County since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Legal & General America from 2019, where they held the position of Lead Security Engineer. In this role, they provided strategic guidance and expertise in cybersecurity while protecting employee end-users and customer data.

Before joining Legal & General America, Jonas worked at Open System Sciences as a Senior Security Engineer from 2015 to 2019. Jonas was responsible for conducting security testing and reviews at the National Institute of Health. Furthermore, they worked as a Penetration Tester at Eagle Research Group Inc from 2013 to 2015, where they conducted security reviews and vulnerability assessments.

Jonas also has experience as a Security Test and Evaluation Analyst at SRC from 2011 to 2013, where they reported security risks and vulnerabilities. Jonas started their career at Lockheed Martin as an Information Assurance Engineer Sr. from 2007 to 2011, where they identified security vulnerabilities and developed security plans.

Additionally, Jonas worked as a Graduate Hall Director at Towson University from 2005 to 2007, providing technical support and managing daily operations. Jonas also worked in various positions at Frederick County YMCA from 1998 to 2007, including Youth Sports Director.

Jonas Morrison holds a Master's degree in Applied Information Technology from Towson University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. Jonas also holds a certification as a Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council, which they obtained in 2013.
