Aby Thomas Varghese is an experienced Cloud Architect and Deputy Chair of the Cloud Business Office at Legal & General since May 2021, where responsibilities include cloud architecture, governance, and strategic innovation for AWS and Azure. Previously, Aby served as a Cloud Solutions Architect at Cognizant Microsoft Business Group, focusing on customer relationships and implementing cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure, and as a Senior Software Engineer at BBC, specializing in Azure Cloud Platform migration. With a strong software development background in various roles since 2002 across companies like Sector [UK] Limited, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Infortech Alliance India Pvt. Ltd., and Dell, Aby has developed a diverse skill set in cloud services, application support, and technical leadership. Education includes a Master's in Computer Applications from Bharathiar University and ongoing participation in the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme.
