Janet Chapman

Janet Chapman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic design and business analysis. Currently serving as a Strategic Designer at Legal & General since January 2020, Janet employs an intentional approach to enhance customer experiences and drive business growth through evidence-driven design. Prior to this, Janet worked at Eight in the Middle from 2008 to January 2020, where roles included Innovation Analyst and Art Director/Full Stack Designer, assisting numerous small businesses in defining their brand values and organizational purpose. Additionally, Janet contributed to a global not-for-profit organization from 2008 to 2018, focusing on strategy development and implementation for London operations. Educational achievements include a BCS Practitioner Certificate in Requirements Engineering and various short courses in corporate social responsibility and inclusive leadership from edX, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Design and Communication from the University of Johannesburg.
