Jan-Willem Prakke

Jan-Willem Prakke has a diverse work experience in legal and managerial roles. Jan-Willem founded Legal Manager in 2018, which focuses on optimizing legal work using technology. Prior to this, they served as the Director Corporate Legal at Schiphol Group from 2012 to 2018. Jan-Willem also worked as the General Counsel at Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. from 2010 to 2012, and as the General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Smit Internationale N.V. from 2006 to 2010. Before that, they held various legal counsel positions at companies such as Philips, Bookmate b.v., and Brunel International. Additionally, they are currently serving as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Pels Rijcken starting from 2022.

Jan-Willem Prakke completed their Master's degree in Law at Leiden University from 1990 to 1996. In 2014, they completed a program called "Orchestrating Winning Performance" at IMD. Jan-Willem also attended De Baak in 2011 for a Leadership Development Course. Additionally, they studied ICT law at the Grotius Academy in 2005. Lastly, they attended Rotterdamsch Lyceum from 1984 to 1990, although there is no information regarding any degree or field of study during that time. In 1996, they briefly studied law at Monash University.
