Leigh Haynie

Leigh Haynie is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in environmental law, currently serving as a Staff Attorney at Legal Services Alabama since November 2022, previously holding the same position from August 2011 to July 2019. A brief sabbatical was taken in 2019, and prior to that, Leigh Haynie operated a solo practice from May 2008 to July 2011. This legal expertise includes representation of local nonprofit environmental groups in federal and state courts, as well as contract work with various law firms nationwide. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree obtained from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from Birmingham-Southern College.
