High-level Immigration Intern at Legal Services NYC

Aanya Myrie-Silburn is currently serving as a High-Level Immigration Intern at Legal Services NYC, where responsibilities include collaborating with the Director to develop litigation strategies for immigration cases. Previous experience includes a role as an Americorps Vista with the City of Rochester, focusing on poverty reduction initiatives, and serving in various capacities at the University of Rochester, including Library Assistant, Lead International Student Mentor, and Vice President of the Undergraduate Film Council. Aanya has also gained valuable experience as a Senior Teen Night Planning Committee Member at the Brooklyn Museum and as a judicial intern at Kings County Family Court.
